Rick Perry
Former Governor of Texas & Former U.S Energy Secretary
Rick Perry served as the longest-serving Governor of Texas, where he championed conservative values and transformed the state into an economic leader. As the 14th Secretary of Energy under President Trump, Perry focused on innovation, cybersecurity, and advancing U.S. energy technologies. He visited all 17 national labs and was instrumental in the U.S. becoming the top oil producer globally. Perry also prioritized Artificial Intelligence and its applications beyond energy.
Gov. Perry is a veteran of the United States Air Force, having flown C-130 tactical airlift aircraft in Europe and the Middle East. He is deeply involved with supporting the active duty and veteran community, both as Governor and as Secretary of Energy.
Gov. Perry has now turned his focus to spreading his vision of the exceptional power that the nation’s innovators have in shaping a dynamic vision of the future—of energy, healthcare, AI, and beyond—injected with the practicality and optimism gleaned from decades of public service.
